Amethyst quartz cluster from the Catalan Grande basin, Artigas, Uruguay. The crystals reach 3/4 inch and are deep purple. The crystals form around a core and stands approximately 3 1/2 inches X 6 inches X 5 inches. Item #09CC-4, $1000.00.

Calcite on amethyst from Catalan Grande Basin, Artigas, Uruguay. The white lines on the calcite appear to be sugar quartz, the amethyst ranges from pale to medium color.
